Dual Tweeter Stereo
It's Like a Pair of Speakers in a Single Speaker!
If you're looking for placement or amplification flexibility with your speakers, consider getting a dual voice coil speaker. The beauty of the dual voice coil design is that it allows you to connect both a left and right stereo signal which means you can run multiple impedance loads on a single speaker. Sounds complicated but it's not. Basically, a DVC speaker plays both right and left channels through one speaker cone. You get both channels but without the acoustic separation that happens with two speakers. This is ideal in homes that are wired for stereo but have one or more locations where only a single speaker will fit. If you were to use a regular mono speaker, you'd only hear half of the music signal. But with a double voice coil speaker from OSD Audio, you'll get both the left and right channels of stereo music through one woofer and two angled tweeters. The result is rich, clear and crisp audio that makes smaller indoor and outdoor spaces feel bigger than they actually are. There are places like bathrooms, closets or hallways that just can’t accommodate multiple speakers, so a DVC speaker solves the problem and produces great sound.
