The OSD Audio OmniRock speaker is an excellent addition to gardens, pools sides, lawns, other outdoor spaces where you want to add great sound. With 200 watts of power handling and an omni-directional design, this sturdy rock speaker cranks out clear, rich sound over a 120 to 200-foot distribution area, and its all-weather enclosure blends right into the scenery. Sold as a single speaker, the OmniRock includes an 8" polypropylene cone and a 1" soft dome tweeter, so you can grill up the burgers or relax on the chaise while enjoying great-sounding tunes.

What is an Omni Speaker?

Omni-directional speakers are ideal for outdoor spaces, with there are fewer hard surfaces to reflect and disperse sound waves. Unlike conventional speakers that disperse sound directionally, omni speakers radiate sound in a 360° pattern, so there is no drop- or roll-off in mid and upper frequencies as you walk around the yard. Add an omni-directional subwoofer to the mix, and you'll have an outdoor audio system that rocks the block.

Built to Blend in and Last for Years

We use a special fiberglass enclosure and weather-proof components that resist rain, high temperatures, snow, pool chemicals, dirt, and bugs; however, we recommend that you cover all your outdoor speakers during extreme weather conditions to keep them in tiptop condition. We also offer this single speaker in sandstone brown, slate, and granite gray that blend into various types of settings, from lush greens to desert landscapes.

Easy to Install

The OmniRock is a great DIY project for any skill level, but there are a few things to keep in mind before you purchase this amazing 2-way rock speaker. This is a passive speaker, so you will need to connect it to a receiver or amplifier. We strongly recommend CL3/FT4 waterproof cable and wire connectors that are designed for direct burial. OSD Audio outdoor speaker wire uses a specially formulated UV-resistant, white polyethylene jacket that provides protection against water damage and allows the cables to withstand extreme weather conditions like rain, snow, and high temperatures and incorporate twice the insulation of average cables. Our direct burial cable comes in different gauges depending on the length of the cable run: 16 gauge for up to 80 feet; 14 gauge for up to 150 feet; 12 gauge for runs longer than 150 feet.
